No, not WordPress Wednesday. That would be Heather‘s deal, and Dutch Blitz keeps getting better because of it (at least on the back end). Not my back end. This site’s back end. My back end is another story entirely.
On random sites I have seen posts titled, “Wordless Wednesday”. The posts consist of only photos. No words. Unlike this post right here that you are reading. With the words.
I Googled Wordless Wednesday, and what do you know? There is actually a site devoted to it. With prizes! To bad I’m spending all of this time typing. I probably won’t qualify, but maybe they’ll be nice to the Canadian girl who cannot seem to stop writing. Blame it on the caffeinated Diet Coke coursing through her veins. I’ll be silent next time. I promise. Maybe I will cut down on my DC consumption.
*gets the shakes*
With only six days down of this thirty-day posting extravaganza called NaBloPoMo (say that ten times quickly) I thought I’d dabble in Wordless Wednesdays when I have nothing else to say. It will free up time to maybe work on a post of substance and get a head start on Foto Friday. It will also give all of the poor suckers kind folks who are reading so many daily posts a bit of a break. Except that I’m still typing.
I’m going to stop typing and post some photos.
Here they are.
That was me typing again. Enough with the words already! The words stop…NOW.

I love the first shot of the boys! The texture of the dirt road is so cool and I love their expressions.

I like to call my wordless days “Visual Blogging.” In fact, I’m considering switching to it full time.

Red berries in fall or winter instantly make me happy.

Such a fun post!
Thanks for the big, big smiles it brought me.
Can you possibly name the plugin that sez “Notify me of follow-up comments via e-mail”?

I have the link on my About This Site page. It’s called “subscribe to comments”.

Can you convince my husband that I need a camera like yours for Christmas?

Yeah, a few of my other blogger friends do Wordless Wednesdays and I noticed it linked back to a website.
Great pics – I LOVE that second one!!

Although I have never heard Grahams voice, I feel like I can hear him yelling with excitement. I love photos where kids are being kids totally uninhibited.

Holy crapola. Your photos get better and better every time you post. How come!! I love the first one. o I have succumbed to the whole Namoblopolobobomo thingy. Sorry- I am just calling it what I want from now on because I will never get it straight, so why try!

I thought the boys were hitchiking in the first photo – ha ha. It kinda looks like it. Great photos as always. Boy, I’m glad I didn’t sign up for that posting every day stuff. It would WEAR. ME. OUT.
You are doing a good job of it though (posting, not wearing me out)

I also really liked the photo of the railroad tie, (if that’s the right name for it), very artsy. Good luck on your posting, only 24 days left!
