I drove home yesterday after shooting Hillary‘s wedding (In an Irish Pub! Photos at Stanley Park. Which involved motorcycle cops. SO FUN! Photos to follow…once I edit them…and get them to the bride and groom).
I had a four-hour drive to concoct a great blog post in my head. After arriving home at midnight last night, and then waking up at 7 am, I AM TIRED.
The post involved a lot of reflection and emoting. Which takes time. Time is something I DO NOT HAVE. I have been reconnecting with my family and dealing with work emails. I am working three days this week outside of the house. THIS IS THE WEEK MY HEAD EXPLODES. Next week too. Stay tuned.
Instead of emoting all over the place and messing up your computer screens, I will leave you with a photo of Krystal and I from twenty years ago.

(Why yes, that is me on the left.)
(Wearing a sweet tie-dye knock off (What was it called again? It was all the rage. I would Google it, but I’m busy. AND TIRED.))
(Also sporting the BIG BANGS that Krystal taught me how to master.)
(THEY DON’T EVEN FIT IN THE FRAME)
(My, what big glasses I am sporting. All the better to reflect light with, my dear.)
(And yes, that is a BOW under my chin. IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY. DON’T JUDGE ME.)
(I take no blame for the cupboards. That would be on my Dad and Stepmom’s shoulders.)
It is a good thing that Krystal does not read blogs or she would KILL ME FOR POSTING THIS.

Oh the oversized sweatshirt and eye glasses. I hear those are hip again.
Just shoot me.

Sadly, I have many equally as embarrassing photos–which my mom broadcast to the whole world in my grandmother’s funeral two weeks ago via slideshow. Sigh. I had hoped to forget those years.

Hee hee hee … twenty years ago, I had a mullet. But I was only five, so it was okay. Horrible, but a little less horrible on a cute little kid.
GREAT picture. I love it.

Was it Hypercolor? I always wanted one of those shirts in the late 80s/early 90s. Sweet Bangs!! I had similar ones back in the day.

Ask and you shall receive! Can I just say that that looks NOTHING like you? (to me anyway…)
I am more scared of the cabinetry in the background than I am of big bangs and sweatshirts.

You had best be afeared that the splogger who snagged your grade nine class photo isn’t hotlinking the image.
Classy, btw.

All I’m saying is that 20 years ago, I wasn’t allowed to make my own wardrobe decisions so I cannot be faulted for any terrible taste.
But you know that 80′s wear is coming back now, right?

I love that your bangs don’t fit in the photo!! And that cabinetry is simply rocking my sweet-sweet world. I think we need to know more about the bow

I just got home, man I forgot how exhausting marking is! Those cubboards are NAS-TAY! But as you mention, not your fault. Your bangs are also not your fault…nope can’t take the blame for fashion trends we are all guilty of. In fact, my 14 year old self would be damn jealous of those bangs.
GAH! I am not old enough to have been 14, twenty years ago!

Gotta love crazy 80′s photos! I’m hoping none of the photos of me ever re-surface. I looked horrendous back then!

Honestly, what the hell was up with big glasses back then? Mine were green with black speckles and covered half my face. ACK! You are way braver than me. I would rather die than post pics of me back then. I looked like a 40 year old secretary.
