Last night was Hallowe’en (for those of you who live in caves), and the boys were excited to dress up and GO GET CANDY! You’ve heard of Batman and Robin? We had Batman and…Batman.
These two have to do everything the same. What Graham has/wears/does, Nathan wants to have/wear/do, and vice versa. I’m sure they’ll grow out of it by the time they are 30.
We made a stop and Grandma and Grandpa’s to say “trick or treat.” She told the boys to take as much as they wanted, so Nathan was in the bowl with both hands. That’s my boy.
Matthew and Dustin took Graham, Nathan, Ben and Megan out trick or treating. Emily and I hung out at Christy’s with Amanda and Avelyn. Emily and Avelyn were dressed up as cute baby girls.
It’s amazing the difference that 12 weeks makes. Emily looks so new next to bright and smiley Avelyn. She’ll catch up soon enough, though.
The five of us headed across the street to see Tianna’s little sweetie Danai (I forgot my camera!), and she is so. very. tiny. She makes Emily look like she’s 12 weeks older, not only 2 weeks older. But Danai is yet another pretty girl.
Christy had the great idea that once her little girl arrives in a few weeks we should do regular pictures of the four girls. In matching outfits! So fun! I’m sure they won’t let us do the matching outfits when they’re fifteen, but we will do it as long as they can’t stop us.
The boys made the rounds to Graham and Ben’s preschool teachers’ houses (Mrs. B. and Mrs. J.), as well as a few others. It was a short trip because it was COLD, but how much candy do two preschoolers really need? They got a good chunk, of which Daddy helped himself to a few pieces after they went to bed. They’re not quite at the age where they know exactly what stock they had, but that will soon no longer be the case. Might as well take free candy while you can.
Back on the topic of cute little girls, here’s another one I took of Emily yesterday, sleeping in her Daddy’s arms. I think she may already have him wrapped around her little finger.

Love those pics of the gals on the floor.

Isn’t Halloween fun?!

That’s the second set of Batman’s I’ve seen this year.
I used to have my picture taken every year with my two girl (second) cousins, who were just a few months older than I. I was the tiny one until about age 9 and now I’m the giant of all three of us. It’s fun to see those pictures all together.

I didn’t even know that was Avelyn. She looks so different! Two little buddies already.

Darn cute. When I was around 3, Batman (the old cartoon) was the hottest show around, I used to run around the house when it was on, singing… Nah Nah, Nah Nah, Nah Nah, Nah Nah, MatMan!!
