I miss my family.
Being in Vancouver is fun and all…places to shop (I always said it would be dangerous if I had a girl), people to meet, things to do. Including work, of course. I’ve been busy. Busy, busy, busy.
But as soon as the busyness stops?
I crave my family. I ache for them, emotionally and physically.
I want to snuggle with this guy:
I want to tickle and laugh with this guy:
Nothing would make me happier than to see him all excited and vibrating as only he can do.
I want to get the biggest, tightest hug from this guy:
Heck, I’d even settle for wiping his sphincter.
I want to nibble on her chubby baby thighs:
And kiss her soft baby head.
Please God, keep me safe and them safe until we are reunited.
One more sleep and I’ll be back where I belong.

Shopping for kids is the best, clothes, toys, it’s all fun!
Hopefully your last day away will go fast, and you’ll be home in no time!

I was thinking of you last night, wondering how your time with Kristin went. Hope your weekend has been relaxing!

Shopping is the GREATEST thing ever! Although it does not compare in the least to chubby baby thighs!

I know how you feel, I always look forward to getting away, and then once I am there, I feel empty and realize that I’d rather be run-off my feet and frazzled (and loved) than relaxed and alone!

Yeah, I totally know what you mean!! I say I crave time away from my kids, but when I get it, I miss them!! One evening away is the most I can handle before I actually miss them so much that it ruins my “break”.
Not long until you’re back with your family!
