Without further adieu, this post is brought to you by Miss Emily.

Hey! Mommy is checking email cleaning the toilets. Time to practice my new skillz.

Up The Stairs

Most people like to lay around all day when they have a cold. Not me! I have stairs to climb!

Up The Stairs

Besides, look at how cute my bum looks in these jeans.

Jean bum

Just call me Sweet Cheeks.

Summit Reached!

That’s right. I’ve got the body that rocks the party.

Mommy rescued me and put me down with some toys while she baked some cookies. TOYS??? Toys are SO six months ago. I’m going to help her organize her canned goods cupboard.

Into The Canned Goods

She has salmon, beans and pumpkin all grouped together. That’s no good. We need to straighten things out here. Better empty it first, and then we can sort by food group and colour family.

Into The Canned Goods

I’m such a good helper. While Mommy cleaned up my mess appraised my efforts, I headed back to my new favourite activity.

  9. Cute video!!!

Time for a stair gate, perhaps?? ;-)

Having said that, we NEVER had one here. Tyler crawled and learned to walk and all that stuff with stairs and NO gate. I know, I’m such a good mother!!! LOL.

You’re a GREAT Mom. With a split-level house we have too many stairs and not enough baby gates :)

  12. i use the excuse of not cleaning my bathrooms due the crafty nature of my almost three year old.

she can deconstruct our dvd player in 3.4 seconds while smearing $40 medicine/compounds all over her and the floors.

    she’s a sly one.

  13. I found you through Kami’s site and have been lurking a bit. I just had to say this was a great post. Your daughter is adorable and I love that you included some video. (Of course, I also love all the wood on your stairs and in your home. It’s gorgeous.) Okay. I’ll stop gushing now. ;) I’ll be back to visit some more.

Aw, thanks! And the wood floors and stairs? Built by Matthew. He’s amazing with wood (and everything else) :)

Love the climbing! I ran upstairs about a month ago still thinking it was fine to leave the ‘baby’ on the floor. I almost knocked her back down the stairs when I unexpectedly ran into her! And what’s with climbing into the fridge when it’s open?

  17. She looks soooo cute in her jeans! And so NOT-babyish! Hudson is so hard to watch now too. Climbing stairs, gettings his fingers caught in the VCR, opening the door on his forehead…etc. Fun…but tiring after hours upon hours, no?

  18. Oh my gosh, you must be exhausted!!! Chasing around after her all day. But darn, she is adorable. LOVE those jeans and her cute little bum. She is going to be a boy killer!!!

Isn’t it funny that you buy them expensive toys and really, they just want to play with empty boxes or canned goods!

  19. Ang, oh good gravy … she’s as methodical as you. Crawl, crawl, straighten right leg, stand.

I LOVE the jean bum. That pic of her in the cans reminds me of when Kaylie dropped a monster can on her toe and almost ripped the entire end off of her big toe. Gross. Her babysitter immediately moved the cans higher. (Not telling you what to do, just remembering and being grossed out as I remember the sight … I don’t do well with blood.)
