I may think that Halloween is stupid, but I sure do love looking back at the kids’ costumes over the years. While we may not be ones to embrace the scary side of Halloween, our kids love to dress up in costumes all year ’round. October and Halloween are just a good excuse to add to our tickle trunk.

2006 – The year of the Batmen

Batman and Batman

Those were actually pajamas. Double duty! (Duty. Heh.)

2007 – They’re Incredible

These guys are pretty Incredible

I DIE.

2008 – Optimus Prime (Graham), Belle and Bumblebee (Nathan)

Happy Halloween!

Too awesome for words.

2009 – Ironmen and a Little Mermaid

Love, love, love.

2010 – Darth Vader (Nathan), Cinderella and Boba Fett the Storm Trooper (Graham)

They’re nothing if not consistent.

2011 – Two Ninjas and a Snow White

Yep. Same theme.

2012 – Return Of The Ninja (Nathan), A bunny (Not a princess!) and Batman

All good themes have to come to an end, I guess.

I look forward to their costume selection every year, and also look forward to scrolling back over previous years’ costumes every year because, seriously. So great.

Aw, they are so cute. Really wonderful to see the costumes over the years. I found out not too long ago that my mom (who lives halfway across the country) kept all the Halloween costume photos of my kids in a separate album and it was fun to see Batman, Indiana Jones, old lady, birthday present, bunch-of-grapes, wizard, etc through the years.

You have such a sweet family. As always, I enjoy your blog.

Ummm those are AWESOME!!! Love the matching costumes with the boys but love how as they got older they changed to different costumes. Love how Miss. Emily stands out as super girly in her costumes amongst her two brothers. Just awesome!
