Than we hit the road at about 12:02 and drove home to crash before getting up at 5AM to tackle the fun of flying standby. But we made it home and I rang in another year with my favorite man. And geared up for the birthday, of course. It's one thing after another this time of year. I love it. Life sure does change once you have kids, but they are SO worth it. This year we had New Years Eve far from home with my out-laws. That and wondering how much snow we have to dig out once we get back home. *sigh* Happy New Year and hopefully these winter time blahs that everyone has will go away quickly. But we make it till about 12:01 then we say goodnight- we aren't the party goers much ourselves. Doesn't help that this year we are waiting for a baby to make an appearance- that contributes to my post-Christmas blahs.
