Surfin’

Yesterday afternoon, the boys were outside “helping” Daddy work on the house. I decided to take the opportunity to actually lay on the couch. You know, “put my feet up.” It’s a rare event but I did it . It lasted 10 minutes, until I had to go and rescue Honey’s power tools from our children.

While having my moment of respite, I did what I always do. I placed the remote on my belly. Why? Well, it’s easy to reach. It’s also fun to watch it move as Baby D does its hourly gymnastics routine. This kid is a MOVER. The other two were active, but I think this one tops them both. My hopes for a placid third child may very well be dashed.

Check out the video I took to show y’all what I mean. The first few seconds start out slowly, but then the baby kicks it up a notch. Literally.

How cool! Usually when you tell someone that your baby is a mover and then you show them…the baby lays perfectly still. But you got some good footage there! FUN

Can’t wait to meet Baby D!

That is so COOL! Maybe baby knew it was a remote and was trying to grab for it!

I can’t wait till this little one starts doing that much ‘belly dancing’=)

I loved feeling Kynan move around. Sometimes I can still feel him, but I guess they call it gas after the baby is out. LOL.

That’s incredible! I’ve never seen the movement so pronounced before…but then again, having never been pregnant that’s not a huge surprise now is it?

That is SO cool - I wish I’d thought of doing that! I got phantom baby kicks just watching :)

Oh my gosh, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like that! Fantastic.

Way cool! That’s a great keepsake! I never even thought to capture the baby booting on video!

THAT baby is a mover and a shaker - don’t think your wish for a placid little one will come true.

But they are so much fun when they are active little beans :-)

My first moved constantly like that too. He still does but has always been happy and content too.

De-lurking to say…

HaHaHa. That was the coolest thing I have seen in a long time.
