Here is a post with no rhyme nor reason. I’ll blame it on the hormones. Because I’m a woman. Because I can. But don’t you dare accuse me of being hormonal or I may be forced to get angry. You won’t like me when I’m angry.
Ahem.
First, an administrative matter. I have been emailed and even phoned about the fact that my site is not loading for some folks. Last week I started using Photoshop Elements to edit my photos and have been using photos with a higher resolution. I think that was the problem. So? I started using the “more” tag. I had tried it before but my Mom (it’s a miracle she can even open my site) didn’t realize there was MORE to be seen.
Mom? If you see a link saying “More…”? CLICK ON IT.

OK.
Today was a day that I “closed” my “office”. Matthew was out of town all day at a conference so I did not do any of my paying work. When Emily went for her morning nap I did something that I absolutely needed to do. I locked the boys in my bedroom with me. I brought snacks. I put on a movie. And I had a NAP. Remember those? I sure didn’t. It was absolutely glorious.
I don’t have a photo of me napping (obviously), so let’s use this one of Miss Emily:
Except I wasn’t sucking my thumb (really!), or wearing a diaper (just a tampon and a pad) and I’m not half as cute as she is.
After Emily and I woke up I packed all three kids into the van and we headed into town. Christina from Red Dirt Road was in the area and wanted to meet Amanda and I for lunch. Amanda’s photo showed me looking not so hot. I’m here to redeem myself.
I’m still not hot. Just not looking so dorky. This picture also does not do Christina`s eyes justice. The are the most stunning shade of green.
Emily and Avelyn appear to be deep in conversation:
Emily: “I pushed out this turd and it was massive. It was almost the size of this ball.”
Avelyn: “No kidding! So when are you going to get some hair?”
I arrived home to have a play date with Christy and Tianna. Christy’s oldest two and my oldest two are BFF’s. And they have way too much fun together.
I want to be four again.
I have no idea how to end this. I need to go to bed.
Here’s an idea! Two options for you:
1. What are Emily and Avelyn talking about?
2. What’s a good caption for that last photo?
Or? A random comment will also suffice. (I’m still sensitive. I need to feel the love.)

E: You just have to see it to believe it, he really is the cutest boy I’ve ever seen. He even gave me this blue ball to play with.
A: He did? Tell me more, tell me more!
And how about…
“Na-na-na-na-na-na you can’t catch us!”

That is better! I didnt want to mention it because it sounded rude, but your blog hasnt been loading for me either or taking a very long time and freezing up. This works so much better.
Emily looks like she is breaking down Pythaegorems theory and Avelyn thinks blue balls are SO last summer.

I love that last picture because it captures the life long struggle between the older siblings and the younger siblings.
But in a totally cute way

I’m not downplaying Christina’s eyes…but if you think HER eyes are stunning…what do you think of your OWN??? They’re vibrant!

Sigh, glad that you had a good day filled with friends to lift you up. Here’s my creativity…
E: Don’t look directly, but I bet you I could throw this thing and hit my Mom’s camera over there.
A: Weellll, I’m not so sure that’s a good idea.
lame. yours was way better

And you crack me up! I couldn’t possibly come up with some more creative that your dialogue – I also like the one about blue balls being SO last summer – cute!

E: She had…man hands.
A: Man Hands?!?
As for the other picture…
“Helmet Boy and his faithful sidekick rescue Mr. Incredible from the clutches of an irate Pink Lady and the Patriot.”

“Using a blue ball to further illustrate her point, Emily explains to Avelyn that the Earth is round, and that water covers approximately 70% of the Earth’s surface.”

Great photos – no captions for them now.
I just wanted to comment that though your site was loading slow, I’m sorry to see the full posts leaving from your RSS feed. Glad you were able to get things working though – it’s just one extra click.
