“I was just remembering how you yelled through those last two contractions when you were in labour with Nathan.”
“I did not! I only yelled when he came out. Because seriously? That was the weirdest feeling EVER! It felt like all of my insides were being sucked out.”
(Cue suction sound)
“Nice sound effect. Was it kind of like when you pull out a really big booger?”
“Um…maybe…if you multiply it by a BILLION TIMES.”

I once heard Bill Cosby describe child birth this way:
take your bottom LIP and pull it over your HEAD.
THAT might be a bit more accurate than the giant booger analagy
