I’m a little uninspired for a posting idea. I was looking over the past week or so, and noticed that I hadn’t said much about my sweet baby girl. My lack of discussing her hasn’t been intentional, there have just been other things to write about…and to cope with.
Part of the reason may be subconscious. It seems that whenever Whoorl does a post about Anders the wonder baby, he goes and mixes things up on her. Murphy’s Law and such.
So…I thought I’d do a post about how “horrible” it has been, and you smart cookies will know what I’m really trying to say.
The girl never sleeps. We’re up every hour on the hour nursing and I haven’t had more than a 1-hour stretch of sleep.
She’s not gaining weight AT ALL. She does not have a double chin or kissable folds on her arms and thighs.
Her brothers don’t like her. They don’t kiss her head all day long or sit next to her and hold her hand. They never ask to hold her on the couch.
She’s definitely not squeezably soft and she does not smell heavenly. Except when she poops. Then she smells amazing and it comes in such small quantities that we don’t have to take her up and bathe her right away.
She never smiles. Nope. Not ever. And she gets less cute with each passing day.
She cries all the time. It’s awful. She cries way more than Nathan does.
It’s been rough. Really.
Take that, Murphy’s Law!
