It’s quite common for me to take photos of the kids all decked out in their Sunday best. This past Sunday, being Mother’s Day and all, I thought that maybe I should be in the photos with my offspring. My husband likes to take photos about as much as I like to clean bathrooms but since it was my day he had to heed my wishes.
(Yes, thee were taken four days ago. I have three jobs, three kids, a husband and a new toy. I’m doing the best I can over here.)
I thought I’d take a few shots of the kids first, to get the camera settings ready.

Matthew suggested that the kids and I peek around a tree.
I start laughing when I even think about Nathan’s face in that photo.
Matthew noted that we weren’t balanced out right. I moved next to Nathan.

The smiles by Nathan and Emily are a little too cheesy for my taste. Not that I don’t love cheese but, you know.
We decided to sit on the stairs off of the deck.
Not quite what I was envisioning.
Graham had had about enough at this point. “How many more???”
Emily and Nathan were equally as enthused.
I told Graham we just needed a few more. Could he pull through for me?

Mommy was happy with the photo and this kids were happy to finally be set free. Have I mentioned how much I love these guys?
