Scene: Last night after dinner
Emily: “Why are you wearing that ring, Daddy?”
Matthew: “I’m wearing this ring because I am married to Mommy.”
Emily: “Why did you marry Mommy? Did you marry her because she is so hot?”
Matthew: (Smirking) “Well, yes. I did marry her because she is so hot.”
Emily: “Yeah, she’s pretty hot. Why did Mommy marry you? Is it because you’re hot?”
Matthew: “That’s what she tells me.”
Emily: “You’re hot, Daddy.”
Matthew: “Thanks, sweetie. How about you? Are you hot too?”
Emily: “Feel my forehead.” (He feels her forehead) “Am I hot, Daddy?”
Matthew: “You’re pretty warm.”
Emily: “Yeah, I’m warm. And a little bit hot. Who’s going to marry me?”

That is too cute. I have already told my daughter she is not allowed to date until she is 30 yr. old. Since she can’t talk my wife told me on her behalf that I was married when I was 25. Hmmm…. this is going to be hard.
