My vacation "treat" of the year was scheduled to be in April. I. Can't. Wait. That. Long. So I'm bumping it up to Reading Week. Location won't be warm (I'd need to win the lottery for that), and is still TBA. And, my parents went on a cruise for a week when I was five and left my little brother and I with my grandparents, aunts and uncles. They moved us around and kept us so busy that we felt like we were on a vacation of our own. I actually still remember it. Maybe another year and the boys will be ready? It's -26 right now with a windchill that makes it feel like -39!!! Needless to say we are holed up here at home! Hubby is from panama and it's +28 there plus humidity so it feels like +39....and why did we decide to live where I come from and not where he comes from!?! I can’t stand the cold either!
