Hey! Remember me?
I’ve been working many, many hours. No time to blog, or do much surfing. I’ve been keeping a little connected with the outside world through the occasional email or wall post, but have been pretty much immersed in reviewing accounting assignments.
Nothing like a little (OK, a lot) of accounting to suck all of your creative juices from your body. I’ve been spending my days staring at the computer and reading about debits and credits, and accounting Handbook sections…(getting sleepy)… and lease versus buy calculations…ZZZZZZZZZZZ.
*Snort!* Huh? Where was I? Oh yeah. Accounting…then there are the financial statements…(head bobbing)
Yeah. Not much exciting blog fodder.
We did have a little excitement to break up my boredom. Matthew was outside with the kids and yelled at me to bring the camera. This is what he found. Or better yet, this is what found us.
Thank God I have a zoom lens. I wasn’t going anywhere near that thing. It slithers and hisses and has beady little eyes. It’s not the kind of snake that OMSH had to deal with but DID I MENTION THAT IT WAS A SNAKE? IN MY YARD?????
It slithered off, hopefully never to be seen again.
*Shudder*
(Insert seguay here…I have no creative thoughts do do one myself)
This morning Matthew “did” the boys’ hair before they left to drop Graham off at Playschool and then run some errands. The dudes looked so cute that I had to pull out the camera.
Then I dressed Miss Emily in a sweet dress, and put the jean hat on. She took it off a number of times, but the strap finally foiled her attempts and she gave up trying to whip it off of her head. I win. This time.
Here’s what she thinks of the hat:
But I like her in hats. She’s even cuter (if that were possible), or at least I think so.
That’s all I got, folks. Back to work for me…zzzzzzzzz.
Though I’d rather be bored (and busy) than dealing with the “excitement” of reptiles.

LOVE the snake. I’m a reptile fan, though. I don’t know what kind it is, though… and I thought I knew all Okanagan snakes… darn it, you stumped me.
Cuties…
Yikes, a snake!!! We don’t have any in NZ and for that I am eternally thankful! I know I would NOT want to find one in my backyard!!
The boys look cute with their ‘do’s and Miss Emily is gorgeous, as usual.
Comment by Hannah on May 28th, 2007 @ 5:21 pmThe boys’ hair is totally adorable. So nice to see a guy in touch with his ‘feminine’ side! I am not a fan of snakes either, I don’t even think I would have grabbed my camera!
Comment by Amanda Franks on May 28th, 2007 @ 6:36 pmAHHHHHH! Me no like snakes. Hope it was a one time deal.
Keep up the DC, caffiene is required for reviewing tasks ![]()
You have snakes, we have scorpions and other frightening arachnids. All are equally scream-worthy.
Comment by LVGurl on May 28th, 2007 @ 7:24 pmHI:) Okay- just the WORD accounting freaks me out. I actually feel myself bristle to think of it. I admire you!
We had a snake a couple of weeks ago. The girls (Vayda and Tessa) and our kids all ran to see it. By the time I got back with the camera, it was gone. It was a small one. Better than the Bull snakes in Drumheller. yuck.
Comment by kelly on May 28th, 2007 @ 7:32 pmEeeek! A snake! Yuck!
The kids are lovely though, love the stylish hair the boys are sporting. They look like they are into it too, fun!
Marin isn’t into hats either, the only way I can get them to stay on is if they have a strap and even that is not doing the trick as of late.
Emily is such a HAPPY little girl and so cute I love it!
The boys look so cute with their “do’s” and little Emily does look like a darling in a hat. Plus, a cute denim hat like that? I want one! ![]()
Feel free to keep the snakes in your yard! As usual, the kids look adorable!

YA!! I finally get to be the first to post a comment. OK little things make me happy right now. LOL!! I love the boys hair. They look so cute. Miss Haylei won’t keep a hat on for anything, I am thinking of using crazy glue. Think that may work. LOL!!!
