Solo parenting is always fun – for a few hours. It’s a great way to appreciate your other half, huh? Today, my friend and I were chatting that my family should go out East for a summer vacation – and that the boys and I would drive out and my husband could join us later by flying. Then I realized I would be traveling across PROVINCES with two boys for days on end… and then I thought, maybe we should just fly? Hope your hubby had a fun time!

Glad to hear that you survived the solo parenting weekend. Having hockey readily available helped too!
It was a great game…and yes, WE WON THE GOLD!!! I could hear you all the way here in Ontario, and vice versa I’m sure. Did they show footage of Dundas Square out there…you’d think Toronto was downtown Vancouver, to the point I was glad I live in the sticks!

We were up at Apex watching Camille snowboard during the hockey game so we didn’t see the whole thing, but we caught the end at the Gunbarrel and everyone was cheering SO LOUD! I felt so Canadian I even ate some poutine, which I haven’t done in about ten years! Good times!
