I have been feeling funky these past few days. Not funky as in let’s don some bell-bottoms and hang a disco ball, but more along the lines of something is bugging me but I don’t know what it is.
Could I still be decompressing from those insane months of working dawn to dusk? Probably. Could it be hormones? It’s likely; I am a woman, after all. Could it be the fact that this heat is SUCKING THE LIFE OUT OF ME? That could be it as well, but I don’t want to complain too much. We all know how much I hate winter. I’ll save my weather complaints for January.
Or? It could be for no good reason whatsoever. Us women are know for being moody, with no apparent purpose to it. Ha!
If I had to sum up my current mood in one word, it would be…(drumroll please)
Meh.
Just refer to me as Her Royal Meh-ness.
But you don’t need to hear about that. I don’t need to rain on your parade. It’s summer! Time for sunshine, and happiness, and sun-kissed shoulders (and noses, and cheeks, and hair…)
So. Instead of wallowing in my meh-ness, I will leave you with some pictures from yesterday.
Beautiful babies and lots of sunshine. Add a little water to cool us off.
I have nothing to complain about. Seriously. I just need to get my head out of my, um, you-know-where.
We’ve got some more beach time planned for tomorrow. Take that, meh!
Though the title of Her Royal Meh-ness has an interesting ring to it.

That picture of Emily is so good, she looks so happy! It is so much fun when little ones like the water.
Enjoy your family beach day I am sure it will take care of your Meh-ness!

We all have those “meh” days – I had a fair few this past week myself (what with PMS and a massively huge storm). So I know you just feel like crap for no “real” reason. It’s okay. You’re allowed.
Beautiful pics, as always!

The meh days come and go, and life doesn’t always have to be sunshine and roses, but you know that! It’s great that you have such cuties to help you through the meh days.
