So, I closed my laptop yesterday and got some things done around here. I then went into our small town by myself, and wandered the streets for a little over an hour. I listened to some Christmas music in the truck and sang at the top of my lungs. It felt good.
Part of the problem is that this little world o’blog is a bit addictive. I enjoy it, as it keeps me in contact with people while I am housebound with a baby. A good baby who naps a lot, and does it better in her cradle. We’re also housebound due to this blasted snowy winter. I’m not fortunate (or old) enough to go South for the winter, so I’ve been feeling a little cooped up…and a little crazy.
Cabin fever can get a bit overwhelming at times, and it’s nice to feel connected to people. I was reminded that there are people in this house that I need to connect with. So…while I don’t need to banish myself from the computer, I am setting limits to the time I spend on here. Yay me. Thanks for the sweet comments and emails after my last post. I’ll still be around, just not as obsessively.
We had small group last night at my house, and it was great. Fantastic, even. And then this morning, Amanda and Christy brought over Avelyn and Olivia to visit Emily. I took pictures, of course, and will share them. I have to warn you. Their collective cuteness may blind you temporarily.
Are you afraid for the teenage years? I am.
If you can still see, check out this adorable one of Emily in a sleeper from my auntie.
And if that didn’t kill you, how about this one of the boys from last night?
They were waiting for Daddy to come and bring them out to the hot tub (he was opening it up).
Cuteness, cuteness everywhere.

All so very cute
I know what you mean about the addictiveness – I too have to close the laptop and go back to the “real” world.
Good for you for setting limits.
PS the spidey underpants are priceless!

It is so much fun to have good friends with kids the same age, especially fun that they are all girls. May they all become great friends.

I’m glad you were able to get out of your Christmas funk, Angella
I’m trying to limit my time on the computer as well, since I am so busy with lots of things to get done! So I understand you may not be around as much.
Cute photos!

I guess I’m delurking here. I love your blog. I totally understand your last post. I cancelled a blog this past summer that I had had for a whole year on impulse because I was too addicted. It didn’t work I started another. I feel real guilty sometimes like I’m neglecting my children and household chores because of blogging and reading others blogs. Husbands are great though hey, they put it in perspective for us and tell us to keep it up.
Cute kids by the way!

Baby girls abounded this past year, I have 4 close friends who all had baby girls too. Fun fun!
Glad to hear you are no longer funky too!

It’s easy to get sucked up into the blogging internet world. My little addiction got so bad that at one point my sisters and I used to talk over our blogs even though we were in the same room.
Glad you had such a festive Christmasy time by yourself.

I was waiting for you to post that photo of the girls. Thanks! And I’m sure my mom, who lurks her regularly, will also be pleased.
Also, thanks for the diet coke and CARAMEL SHORTBREAD SQUARE. Made my day.
Glad you’re feeling better.

There was far too much cuteness in this post! I can’t even tell you turn it up a notch!
And winter is the worst for cabin fever – at least in summer sitting outside for five minutes in the breeze clears you mind and make you feel a little freer. In winter you just end up with a frozen nose and chilly toes.
