Crashing Down

In an attempt to cope with the (Four feet of!) snow outside I started looking at these photos from our Mexico trip last year.
Greetings From Mexico!!

I can’t decide if these photos are helping or hindering my quest to beat the winter blues.

*Mat Kearney. We listened to the Undeniable album on repeat while in Mexico.  I have been listening to it this week and dreaming…

Vacation destinations should DEFINITELY have you do their photos. I have NEVER felt like I wanted to go to Mexico, and now I feel like I want to go to Mexico. Also, I want that white dress. SPECTACULAR. And can I have your hair too? KTHANX.

My roomie is planning a trip to Mexico this summer and I might go with her. I was wondering if you could share with me where you guys stayed! Funny how I was planning to ask you anyway and you went and posted pics from your trip as a lead-in. :)

Ohhhhh thank you! It’s all blizzardy outside here this morning, too, and this gave me a brief reprieve. That white wrap dress you’re wearing is stunning!

Those photos are beautiful and are giving me warm weather envy. We’ve got 2.5 feet of snow in the front yard and about 2 million gallons of rain falling outside. Mexico definately sounds better

Sadly, no. Sigh. There is nobody to watch the kids and traveling with all five of us is too pricey. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh.

My hometown keeps getting buried with snow, which just makes me all that more blissful that we moved to Portland when we did. We did get snow this year, but that is super rare and anyway, let’s all go pitch our tents on that beach right now. Tropical ocean views can’t be beat.

Just read your twitter (msbaby) and came to take a look. What fabulous pictures! And the two of you look so very happy!

Some friends of ours just took their yearly cruise to Cozumel and they didn’t enjoy it nearly as much as last year because they all got seasick. ICK!

Looks like heaven. I think you just need a few of those fruity drinks with a cute little umbrellas in them. That’d make you feel better right? (well, until morning!) ; )

Such beauty there… really.

I NEED a vacation, too. It will NOT STOP RAINING HERE.

It may be time to build an ark. An ark that can perhaps get me to Mexico. Or Hawaii. Or anywhere that will serve be a drink with an umbrella.

Snow is a fact of life in the frozen tundra that is Canada. I got out of my igloo today for a while. Spent way too much time at the bank , where the manager was fascinated with what I do for a living.

OMG that looks like THE most amazing holiday. It’s summer here where I am (New Zealand) and I’m even jealous! It must be the palm trees. I don’t have many palm trees in my city.

Such beautiful pictures of the scenery and you and hubby. Where I live (in sunny Florida), I’ve only seen snow 4 times in my life. Not counting the time I went with the youth group to Galinburg. It was absolutely gorgeous. Yes, I would like to visit someplace where it snows and take thousands of pictures, but I don’t think I could live there. Give me the beautiful white sandy beaches anyday.

I miss it, too. For you.

“In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.” ~ Albert Camus

You are such a vibrant person it is amazing you don’t melt the snow around you! Hang in there.
