So. I’m at the tail end of the course I’ve been facilitating. Whew! Then I decided to accept the contract to teach another three-day course this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I leave tomorrow. I’ve been prepping like a mad woman. Long days and late nights. No time to play on the Internet. That’s when you know I’m busy.
The upside to this course? It’s downtown Vancouver. I am also staying in a hotel downtown. And? Shopping downtown. Pray that my credit card doesn’t burst into flames. Knowing me I’ll probably buy more for the kids and Honey, but it’s still shopping. Whee!
Enough about me. Let’s update you on the kidlets. Oh, and the dog – his owners found him. We’ll get a dog someday – just not today.

Last night Graham turned to me and told me I was “young”. I asked him what he meant by that.
“You’re still young, and not old. When you get old then you die. You’re not dead yet.”
I agreed. I’m still kicking. I asked him what happens when you die, fully expecting the Sunday School answer.
“Then they dig you a hole in the dirt.”
Once I stopped laughing, I tried to pry further to see if he would talk about Heaven. I asked him where you go after they dig you a hole in the dirt.
“You go up a tree and fly into outer space! Just like Buzz Lightyear!”
Sort of. We’ll work on that one.

We have been recording So You Think You Can Dance on the DVR during the week and watching it on the weekends with the kids. They really like “the dancing show” and decided to bust a few moves. Nathan just may have a future in dance. Daddy would prefer him to be an NBA star, but we’ll have to see what happens.
