Since the craziness that was Friday, my life has been gloriously uneventful. The days have been filled with sunshine! And gardening! And wiping poopy bums!
Spring finally arrived on Saturday and we have been basking it its glory. I also had a few more people contact me regarding photography gigs. Woo!
I have tried to play with my new lens as much as possible, but in addition to pulling weeds and looking down the barrel of butt cracks, I have had “real” work to do. It is our Company’s year-end (Meh), and there are our personal tax returns (Refund!), and the business side of photography has taken some time (Contracts, and Price Lists, and Portfolios, oh my!).
I have been floored by the amazing photos that my new lens takes, and that is a good thing. I would hate to spend so much cash on a tool, use it, and say…”yawn“.
Due to the mundaneness that has been my life, I could not for the life of me think of a way to post the photos I took of the kidlets. I wanted to be creative, but all I could come up with was, “My kids are cute. kthanksbye!”
Until this morning.
We dropped Graham off at school and then ventured to the grocery store before coming back home. Nathan and Emily played on our deck while I unloaded the haul. Nathan started giggling uncontrollably and called me to come and see what they were doing.
