We just came back from the same kind of trip- only from Pickering (TO) to Niagara Falls. While we have lovely pics to prove the fun, I think I need a good glass of wine to recover from travelling and touristing with a toddler… We lived to tell the tale! Loved the pics!

So you’re telling me that while I was in Vancouver I missed a zoo AND an aquarium?! I knew Vahid was keeping things from me.

So now it looks like I have an excuse to drag him back there…

Dykstra babies are SO FREAKING ADORABLE. I love that shot of Emily jumping into the pool – it’s OBVIOUS that she has big brothers!!

Pool pics are always my favorite because they are (so colorful and perfect! and) reminders of summers of yore for me, growing up with a pool as old as I am at my grandma’s house.

And I love the Vancouver Aquarium!

I also loved standing outside with Nathan for fifteen minutes on Saturday while he showed me all of the pictures he took at the zoo, and told me the names of all the animals he knew.
